Chance e.V. has been collecting all direct debits since the conversion of European payment transactions to the SEPA standard on the following dates:

On the 1st of the month
on the first bank working day of the month

On the 15th of the month
on the fifteenth or on the first banking day after the fifteenth

Quarterly collection
on 01.01. or on the first banking day after 01.01.
on 01.04. or on the first banking day after April 1st
on July 1st or on the first banking day after July 1st
on October 1st. or on the first banking day after October 1st.

Self-annual direct debits
on 01.01. or on the first banking day after 01.01.
on 01.07. or on the first banking day after July 1st

Annual collection
on 01.01. or on the first banking day after January 1st

We coordinate the exact collection date for one-off direct debits individually. Every SEPA direct debit has a so-called mandate reference. This always corresponds to the personal donor number. It can be found as the second part of the purpose specified in the direct debit after the dash, e.g. XXXX/001.
